Maps are important at Buck.
Pickup a trail map from the friendly summer staff who circulate through the parking lot as you unload your bikes. The trails are signed and marked at the entrance with a fitness or skill level rating. One moose print is an easy trail on flat terrain. A five hoof print rating indicates a trail that requires good fitness and high skill.
Access the trails from the main forest roads that run the length of the park. They are named and signed and there are directions pointing you back to the gate, if you get turned around.
Buckwallow is located off highway 11 near Gravenhurst. Take exit 175 the Bethune Drive / Doe Lake Rd exit and turn right at the stop sign. Immediately turn left onto Gravenhurst Parkway. Reay Rd is on your right just before the Muskoka Airport. The Google map below will allow you to print directions.
